Arena-Grade Concert Production at ICC Sydney's Darling Harbour Theatre (With 4 Days' Notice)

In May 2026, Agha Events brought Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama to the ICC Sydney Darling Harbour Theatre. The brief was big with a short turn around: a full international-artist production spec, ready to go in just four days. Make it stand out! Our crew delivered the lot; audio, lighting, video, rigging and crew. Bump-in to bump-out, all under one quote.

Why the Darling Harbour Theatre Demands a Production Partner Who Knows the Room

The Darling Harbour Theatre is one of Sydney's premier live venues: a purpose-built, 2,500-seat theatre inside ICC Sydney with serious rigging capacity and a fast-moving event calendar. That calendar is exactly why short turnarounds are common here, and why pre-production matters.

Tight load-in windows at ICC Sydney are made possible with a whole lot of pre-rig, a tight crew, and a kit list ready to roll. We pre-built truss, looms and racks in the warehouse so that when the dock doors opened, the rig went up, not together.

Audio: Quantum Power, Theatre Coverage

At front of house, a DiGiCo Quantum 338 Pulse gave the engineers the channel count and processing an international headline act expects. Out front, an Adamson CS10 line array delivered even, full-range coverage to every seat in the theatre, no dead spots, no harsh front rows.

On stage, a Shure Axient Digital wireless package, in-ears and monitor wedges met Ragheb Alama's artist spec exactly as ridered.

Lighting + Video: A Light Curtain Moment

The lighting rig combined Martin and Robe moving heads, beams and washes with Tetra2 linear bars to create a spectacular light curtain behind the artist, operated by our own lighting technician Matt. A full-width LED video wall carried the artist's content throughout the night. Every fixture hung from pre-rigged truss; the key to keeping load-in tight for a one-off event at a busy venue like ICC Sydney.

One Crew, One Quote, Bump-In to Bump-Out

From pre-rig through to pack-down, our crew handled the lot; audio, lighting, video systems and rigging, all under one quote. Agha Events' own engineers took it from there, with their audio engineer at the Quantum 338 and their team driving the artist's video content. Our systems, their show. Exactly how a good hire spec should work.

Thanks to Agha Events for having us, and to the ICC Sydney team for a seamless venue experience.
