PBR AUSTRALIA - Brisbane & Cairns 2021
Our long-time client and friends at PBR Australia kicked off the annual State of Origin Series event at Brisbane Entertainment Centre in July 2021.
Round One, originally scheduled to be held on our home turf at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre, was postponed and moved to Brisbane following Covid restrictions on events in NSW, but prior to border closure, allowing our team to once again provide full audio, lighting & video production.
Our NEXO STM Line Array speakers punched through the cheering crowd while our lighting rig comprised of 16 x Martin Mac Quantum's, 12 x Martin Rush MH11's, 16 x Robe Spiiders, 6 x GLP Impressions and 10 x Pixapanel LED Flat pars operated from the Grand MA2 lighting console bought the room alive and added drama to the impressive display from the riders. Our 7m x 4m Pixapanel T5 LED Screen provided imag & content while an additional 5m x 1m Pixapanel T5 LED screen ran the sponsors loop and 8 sec riders clock.
With Queensland taking out round one, round two moved to Cairns the following weekend. Our Hire & Events Manager, Rob Thorne was lighting ops on the Grand MA3 lighting console operated in MA2 mode.
Round III of the State of Origin is scheduled to be held in Newcastle later 2021.
