“The Star Of The Show” - PBR Australia Season Finale thrills audiences with unique Lighting and LED Video Rig
For over 10 years, Professional Bull Riders Australia has enlisted the expertise, equipment, and personnel of Forefront, to bring the highest level of production to their events. Across this year's Arena Show events in Townsville, Tamworth, Newcastle and Brisbane, we once again supplied a comprehensive AVL hire package; including Adamson PA, PixaPanel LED screens and lighting fixtures from Martin, Robe and PixaPanel.
PRB Season Finale in Townsville
Whilst all these events were a massive success, perhaps the most exciting show was saved for last. The PBR season finale, taking place at the Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre, would be dominated by the unexpected champion Cody Heffernan, who claimed both the PBR Monster Energy Tour Grand Finals event title and the 2022 PBR Australia National title. This exciting showcase of talent on the nation’s biggest night of the sport would be supported by a stand-out production design
The focal point would be a breathtaking star-shaped lighting and video rig, inspired by the PRB Australia logo. Designed by Jamie Schmidt of One80 Cr8ive, this centrepiece would not only serve a practical need in providing an easily visible Jumbotron to the audience but would also facilitate a light show worthy of the heart-pumping competition and thrilling supporting acts. Pulling off this design would make use of 210 meters of straight and curved truss, over 94 individual fixtures and 60m2 of PixaPanel LED screen.
The Line array deployment on the night would also be standout, with over 26 Adamson CS10 boxes, 17 CS7 boxes and 8 CS119 subwoofers, providing unprecedented audio coverage and clarity. This is Forefront’s largest deployment of our Adamson inventory to date; reflecting our capacity to meet the greatest of sound requirements with the most intelligent loudspeaker technology
Whilst this event goes down as a very impressive use of equipment, none of this would be possible without the expertise of our team. Our Hire & Events Manager Rob Thorne would oversee production, as well as the design of the rest of the season (not including Townsville). Our crew also serviced the following roles:
