How Saints Church Melbourne Rethought the LED Screen
When Saints Church Melbourne transitioned from a mobile setup to their first permanent home, a beautiful heritage-listed church building, they wanted to make the most of the new space.
One of their early goals was to incorporate an LED screen to enhance worship, teaching, and creative content. But rather than simply installing a standard screen, they wanted something that felt integrated. It needed to complement the character of the space, not overpower it.
Working closely with the team at Forefront Productions, Saints Church designed a custom PixaPanel LED display that would both serve their needs and reflect the building’s heritage. The final result was a one-of-a-kind PixaPanel screen, shaped with a distinctive arch that echoes the church’s stained-glass windows. It’s a creative and thoughtful take on what an LED screen can be; something that doesn’t just work well, but also looks like it belongs.
This project is a great example of how LED screens don’t have to be massive or intrusive. With the right design, they can be subtle, intentional, and still make a strong visual impact.
To complement the visual upgrade, Forefront also installed an Adamson IS7 Line Array system, delivering high-quality, evenly distributed audio throughout the space.
The finished result is a seamless blend of history and technology. Saints Church now has a permanent home that supports their vision and creativity, while maintaining the beauty and atmosphere of the space.
This project highlights what’s possible when churches think differently about their AV needs. With the right team and a clear vision, technology can enhance both function and form.
