A New Home for Zion United Pentecostal Church
For Zion United Pentecostal Church, the journey to a permanent home has been years in the making.
“Our church was established in 2008. It’s been a long-time dream of ours to have our own building…” shares Sui, Media Director at the church. “Through the grace of God, we were able to secure this land. The building project was finally finished in November of 2024.”
After years of setting up and packing down in hired spaces, stepping into a purpose-built facility marked a significant shift, not just practically, but culturally.
To help bring that vision to life, the church partnered with Forefront Productions to deliver a fully integrated audio, lighting, and video solution designed for both excellence and ease of use.
From Set-Up Every Week… to Ready Every Weekend
Before moving into their new building, the team was used to the rhythm of portable church.
“Because we were renting out halls, we would have to set up everything, pack it back down every single weekend…”
That reality shaped many of the decisions in the new space.
“So now that Forefront has helped us, everything is just ready every weekend… that’s been really enjoyable for us.”
This shift, from temporary to permanent, isn’t just about saving time. It allows teams to focus less on logistics and more on creating meaningful, distraction-free services.
A Sound System Designed for Clarity and Confidence
A key priority for the new auditorium was achieving clear, even coverage across the entire room.
An Adamson IS-Series system, featuring IS7 line arrays supported by IS10p outfills and IS119 subwoofers, delivers a consistent listening experience no matter where you’re seated, full, balanced, and controlled.
At the centre of the system, an Allen & Heath dLive C3500 provides a powerful yet intuitive mixing platform. For a volunteer-led team, that balance is critical, giving operators confidence while still offering the depth needed for more complex moments.
With Sennheiser EW-DX wireless microphones and G4 in-ear monitoring systems, the church is equipped with reliable, high-quality RF that supports both speaking and full-band worship seamlessly.
Lighting That Supports the Room
Lighting was approached with intention, not to distract, but to enhance.
A clean stage wash from TourPro LED 150 Fresnels ensures visibility and consistency, while TourPro ZB7 beam wash fixtures add subtle movement and depth when needed. Floor-stacked for flexibility, they allow the team to adapt the look of the stage without overcomplicating the system.
All lighting is controlled via a grandMA3 onPC system, offering professional-level control in a format that remains accessible for a growing team.
A Visual Experience That Extends Beyond the Room
Video plays a central role in connecting both the in-room and online experience.
A 2.6mm PixaPanel instaLED screen provides a bright, crisp, and vibrant backdrop for content and lyrics, cutting through ambient light while maintaining clarity and detail.
BirdDog PTZ cameras, paired with a Blackmagic ATEM Constellation switcher and control panel, give the team the flexibility to capture and produce services with ease, whether for live streaming or in-room IMAG.
Built for More Than Just Sunday
Beyond the main auditorium, the system was designed with flexibility in mind.
Digital signage and distributed audio, powered by Adamson IS7pX speakers and controlled via Kramer, allow multiple spaces throughout the building to function independently during the week.
When needed, these rooms can seamlessly integrate with the main system, transforming into overflow areas when partitions are opened, all while maintaining a consistent experience.
A Partnership That Made the Difference
For Zion United Pentecostal Church, choosing the right partner was just as important as choosing the right equipment.
“We looked through every way, Forefront was the best option with the prices and the brands that we use… and the communication leading to installation was very good.”
That experience didn’t stop once the install was complete.
“Even after all the setup was done, they were always happy to give us a helping hand… it’s been really good working with them.”
A Space Ready for the Future
Now in their new home, Zion United Pentecostal Church is equipped with a system that doesn’t just meet their current needs, it sets them up for what’s ahead.
“Since moving in, it’s been such a great process and experience with the AV system.”
With the right tools, the right design, and the right support, the team is free to focus on what matters most, creating moments that connect with people, every single week.
