November 2012 saw Cityfest rock the Newcastle Foreshore hosted by Louis Palau. With a great line up of bands including Hillsong, Darlene Zschech, New Empire and Evermore, PixaPanel was used as a backdrop to the stage in both the daylight and night hours
Our very own lighting designer, Rob Thorne, incorporated the PixaPanel S10 panels in a strip configuration accompanied by other lighting fixtures to the 20m wide stage.
Forefront was honoured to be involved with Citifest with Luis Palau. Forefront was contracted to provide audio, lighting, video and staging for this fantastic community event over two days.
Once the stage was completed on Thursday night, Forefrontwent about installing the Lighting and Video system. This consisited of some 50 moving lights along with 60 Pixapanel S10 Panels. The Pixapanel which was run as the stage back drop consisted of strips ranging from 8m down to 3m long. When it was fired up a picture of the event logo was sent to Kevin Hart, Luis Palau's Production Manager, which he commented gave him goose bumps, "this is exactly as I hoped it would look!"
Friday saw the installation of the brand new Nexo STM line array unit, with Australia being the first country to see it. On stage a combination of the Nexo NX12 line wedges and PS15 wedges where utilised along with RS15 Subwoofers for stage monitors, drum and side fill. Forefront also provided a total of 18 sends of Sennheiser G3 In Ear Monitors.
Saturday included bands: Hillsong, Salem International Baptist Choir, Britt Nicole and New Empire with Sunday including Evermore, Stan Walker, Darlene Zschech, Antiskeptic along with The Lads for the kids program.
